Figure with a Horse
This platter is beautifully decorated by my wife Tina, with an image of a figure riding a horse. The platter is an irregularly cut slab piece. The decoration is painted with underglazes on a white stoneware clay and is then dipped in a clear glaze. The piece is approximately 8 1/2 inches wide and 1 1/2 inchs tall. BLACK AND WHITE PLATE
This hand-made slab platter is decorated with a black underglaze on a white stoneware clay body and then dipped in a clear crackle glaze. I make the forms of our pieces and Tina decorates them. This plate is 9 1/4" square and about 1 " tall. Our work is both funcitonal and decorative and is also dishwasher and microwave safe. Thank you for taking the time to look at this piece.
